Mankato Marathon

MRCI knows life is a marathon, not a sprint. We understand to be successful takes training, perseverance and the right mindset. At MRCI, we are committed to going the distance to help our clients achieve their dreams. We strive to provide innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with disabilities at home, at work and in the community.

We are so thankful of the support we get from the communities we are in, from volunteers to employment partners. And now, we can add champion runners to that list!

We are proud of our four charity runners in the 2022 Mankato Marathon!

"Super excited to run the Mankato Marathon for MRCI, which is where I work. I love working with my clients. I'm super excited to see you all there at the marathon cheering us a on."

Joe Broze
MRCI Father

"I have a daughter who’s name is Emily and a lot of you know her. Seems like everyone knows Emily, but also with her Down syndrome, she goes to MRCI. She's been a client for about a dozen years. And we're just so thankful and grateful for everything that MRCI does and I’m excited to contribute to our community and MRCI by running in the Mankato Marathon."

Sean Morawczynski

"I started volunteering with MRCI last year through their virtual program, and it's just been a great experience getting to meet everybody and talk about the community, what we have going on here in Mankato and just seeing what a great organization can do with employing people in the community."

"I’m not a runner, however I ran the Boston Marathon in 2015 to raise money for the organization that provided a living situation for us during my daughter’s rehabilitation and brain cancer treatment. We now do a lot of work with MRCI and I’m happy to support this organization. That keeps me motivated!"
